Welcome to the Flourish Together community. We're so glad you're here to share in our passion for serving NICU babies and their families well. At Blooming Littles, we believe all families in the NICU deserve high-quality, compassionate care that helps them parent their baby confidently. 

 

That can start with you.

 

Everyone here has taken the Flourish Neonatal Therapy Training Course (or is currently going through it), and we're all passionate about the NICU! This is an exciting space to help support and cheer one another on as you navigate the NICU as an advanced area of clinical practice.

Every month, we'll meet in the community's live meeting room (kind of like Zoom!) to discuss course questions and discuss any NICU questions you have.

Monthly Action-Focused NICU Challenges

Information only takes you so far. At some point, you need to get brave and start translating it to clinical practice. Join in on our monthly challenges and take steps towards confident, clinical practice!

Share NICU resources, cheat sheets, research articles, or advice that helped you in our designated community circles (on the lefthand side of this screen!). 

 

 

Now, let's help you get oriented with some NEXT STEPS...

Step 1: Complete Your Profile 

 

Make sure to add a photo of yourself so we can put a face to a name and then add in any information you want included in your profile! 

Step 2: Introduce Yourself in the "Intro & Socials" Circle. 

 

We want to get to know you! Before you do anything else, head on over to the "Intros and Social" Circle and share some information with us!

  • On the left side of your desktop, you will find the different "circles" where we can share information with one another. 
  • Click on the "intro & socials" circle and share in the thread. 
  • Things to share: Your name, where you're from, whether you currently work or are aspiring to work in the NICU. If you do work in the NICU, share what level you work in, 1-2 fun facts, and anything else you'd want us to know  ☺️

 

Step 3: Explore the Community 

 

Let's walk through all the things you'll find on your "Flourish Together" community dashboard.

 

Along the top menu:

  • Feed: This is where you can post any questions/resources/intros you have for the group. There's an option to select which circle you want your post to show up in. You can also attach files there as well. 
  • Challenges: Information for the monthly NICU challenges show up here. They're action-focused activities that will help you transfer knowledge into practice! You can also cheer one another on throughout the month as you complete the challenges together. 
  • Meetups: This is the space where we will meet for our LIVE monthly calls. You can see which calls are upcoming so you can be sure to join us LIVE for a NICU Q&A!
  • Start Here: This is the page you're on now! Head back to this tab if you need help orienting to this community. 

 

On the left side of your dashboard:

  • Circles: Circles are communication feeds that center on different topics. If you have a question, want to explore resources, or share a win in your life...this is the place to go. You'll get to see and communicate with other passionate therapists and students in this community! This space is always open, so you can post whenever you want or need to. To keep topics organized, there are 4 circle threads to choose from when you want to share or post something for other members.
